We had another family from our church over for dinner and we served an amazing HoneyBaked Ham, with Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Green Bean Casserole, and a Chocolate Mouse Cake. My husband picked everything up from the Dearborn Heights, MI HoneyBaked store. We called to reserve our ham as he was on his way over--it couldn't have been easier!

The ham and the side dishes were easy to heat in the oven. After they warmed up, I transferred them into my own dishes for serving at the table. The directions for the side dishes are on the packages themselves. If you do decide to heat your ham, which is not necessary, please follow the directions online to avoid drying out your ham.

Our guests warned us that they didn't eat honey ham often. I didn't need to worry though, because they each came back for seconds, thirds, fourths, and even fifths! The HoneyBaked Ham was a huge hit! All 5 of the kids dining with us (ranging in age from 15 months to 5 years) loved the ham as well. It's so important to have food at your Easter table that everyone will love!

The Garlic Mashed Potatoes were the perfect texture and flavor. The garlic flavor was a wonderful addition, not an overpowering flavor. The mashed potatoes were enough for 4 adults and 5 kids to each have one serving. I would go back to HoneyBaked just for these mashed potatoes!

The Green Bean Casserole was also tasty, although it was waterier than we would have liked. I served it with a slotted spoon, which helped, but did not solve the problem completely.

After we had stuffed ourselves with ham, green beans, and mashed potatoes (and the fancy green salad our guests had brought), we brought out the chocolate mousse cake. Unfortunately, one of the sides of the cake had slid off during the thawing process. However, I set that side away from the guests and no one was the wiser. The Chocolate Mousse cake was light and delicious. I loved the chocolate flavor that was not too heavy.

The Chocolate Mouse Cake was such a hit, in fact, that our friend asked for the recipe! I told him my secret was HoneyBaked!!
