Maybe you need a new car because your current one is on the fritz.
Perhaps you're looking for a second car for your family.
Maybe you're even helping your teenage son find the perfect first vehicle.
Regardless of your reasons for buying a new car, there are a number of ways you can make sure you get the best deal on your vehicle. A decision to purchase a Toyota Prius is a good one.
First of all, always ask your Toyota Prius C Dealers about current promotions and offerings. Here are some specific questions to ask:
1. Will there be a sale soon?
2. Do they have any trade in specials?
3. If they don't have any trade in specials, will they have any in the near future?
Remember, many places offer promotional deals on a rotating schedule. This means that they might not have a promotion this month, but there may be one next month.
Second, make sure you look online for any coupons before you purchase your vehicle. A few minutes of looking online might be enough to save you a significant amount of money. Dealers may also match competitors' coupons and specials. It never hurts to ask.
Third, check out what the price of the car is listed as online. You may find that the online price of the vehicle is different than the posted price at the dealership. Make sure you bring the printed website page with you to the dealership and request that you be given the online price. This will save you additional money while buying a new Toyota at the dealership.
I'd love to know if you have recently purchased a Prius or new "greener" vehicles and any tips or tricks you may have for getting the best deal!
Also, I've decided to dedicate some articles on my blog to greener cars and vehicle options besides regular gasoline-powered vehicles. This is the first in that series and I'm excited about test driving some green vehicles (coming up soon!) and writing about greener vehicles in the hopes that both my- and your next vehicle purchase will be aided by this research.
