Operation Smile Benefitted by Campus Book Rentals

Operation Smile is a wonderful medical charity that provides free, safe cleft lip and cleft palate repair surgery for children all over the world.

Without this free surgery, children in many countries are at a great risk of being kept in seclusion by their families because embarrassment. Young babies with cleft palates may not be able to nurse and can die or grow severely malnourished.

Operation Smile connects doctors with patients who cannot afford cleft repair surgery on their own. These surgeries can take as little as 45 minutes and the time is donated my the surgeon. Even with these amazingly selfless doctors volunteering their time, Operation Smile needs our help to continue with their important work of changing smiles and lives.

One way that you can help Operation Smile is by renting your textbooks through CampusTextbookRentals.com, where you can rent your textbooks (and be guaranteed no buy-back hassle!) for a fraction of the cost of purchasing your books for school.

Campus Textbook Rentals donates to Operation Smile with each and every textbook rented from their site. It's definitely a win-win, with the flexible renting periods, ability to have your books delivered with free shipping, and the fact that something you must purchase anyway can make such a big difference for someone with a cleft lip or palate.

You can really see the difference in price with this textbook, for example:
Physics by Giambattista and Richardson is only $20.68 to rent for the whole semester. If you bought this book at the bookstore, you'd be paying an unbelievable $168.42! I would much rather rent, avoid the hassle of selling my textbook back, and know that my rental is helping Operation Smile and children around the world. As they say on their website, "When you rent textbooks from us, you make a difference."
