Shielo Anti-Aging Complexion Scrub: Sustainable and Cruelty Free

With all of the beauty products out there, it's hard to know which are both safe AND effective.

First of all, the Shielo Smoothing Anti-Aging Complexion Scrub is safe for your body and for the earth. The scrub is made in the USA of cruelty-free, sustainable, and organic ingredients.

In addition, Shielo's packaging is made from post-consumer waste and is recyclable itself.

After using the product for a few weeks, I can also say that I really enjoy using this scrub. I use it in the shower, as it's easiest for me to get it all rinsed off in there. The microspheres in the scrub are very gentle and not scratchy or jagged at all. The small spheres make the exfoliant gentle and yet still fulfill their purpose of removing dead cells. In terms of smell, the scrub has no "fragrance" to me but still has a slight scent--a little like clay to me, although I couldn't quite place it. I honestly did not notice any smell until I made myself focus on it for the purpose of this review.

When I rinse the scrub off I really feel like my skin is silkier and smoother. It's almost like there is a weightless protective layer on my face. I took inventory of my pores today after using the scrub and the pores on my cheeks seem clear of gunk and grime. The pores on my nose were not as clear, so I will continue to work on them with the scrub. Even at the end of the day, I can touch my face and really tell if I used the scrub that morning or not. It really makes a difference in how soft and smooth my skin feels!

Overall I am happy that Shielo considers their impact on the environment and strives to make an earth-friendly and organic product. I am definitely pleased with how my skin feels to the touch after using the scrub and I hope that I can see more positive effects as I continue to use the scrub regularly.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
